#WeWillWeek – Stoke High School Ormiston Academy takeover

Stoke High School Ormiston Academy

On Wednesday 1st March we tasked pupils across the Ormiston network with the #WeWill website challenge. Asking young people to write and submit content on the day. Pupils from Stoke High School Ormiston Academy shared their bake sale fundraising activities.

Article 1

We would like to run a bake sale to make money for our local charity to support them, doing this will hopefully benefit both of us. This bake sale will be in our local community hall on Thursday 2nd March.

Throwing your own bake sale doesn’t mean you need to be an expert in the kitchen. There are a whole host of delicious treats that are quick and easy to make. Whether you host your bake sale in the comfort of your own home or have a bake sale at work, there’s no better feeling than satisfying rumbling tummies, whilst raising funds.

Article 2

We would like to run a bake sale to raise money for our local charity. We feel like a bake sale is a fun and yummy way to raise money for this charity. The suggested donations for the cakes are 50p-£1 (no higher) depending on the prices of ingredients used to make the cakes.

The bake sale will take place at our local community hall in March. This will be a great opportunity to come together as a community and raise money for this charity

Bake Sale, by Blake Mann

This school bake sale will take place on Friday 3rd March at lunchtime. Cakes will be 50p each and all the money raised will go towards a local charity. The bake sale will take place along the main corridor, students and staff can take part in making different types of cake.
