Young Careers Impact Day

The annual day raises awareness about young carers and young adult carers and the pressures they face.

It’s estimated that there are 376,000 young carers in the UK.

The Young Carers Trust estimate, despite the recorded figures they believe 1 in 5 school children are hidden young carers.

This year’s theme is Make Time For Carers:
•improved support in schools
•more access to breaks,
•better access to counselling support
•and more financial support.
