iWill Week 2023- competition winners announced

The winners for this year’s iWill Week creative arts competition have been revealed.

Isla Shaw, from Cowes Enterprise College, has won this year’s competition to design an alternative future school.

Isla Shaw’s drawing was praised by the YAC judges for their drawing and summary of a school that “embodies the quality values that make a positive difference”.

The competition, which had an “optimistic” theme, attracted many entries, with second place going to Blake Buggy from Cowes Enterprise College.

Both Isla Shaw and Blake Buggy will be awarded a total of £600 to make improvements to their current classrooms or school buildings.

10-year-old Stephen Clarke from Ormiston Bridge School won the Primary school category for his design.

A Letter to Future Me

After the success of last year’s creative writing competition, we challenged the network to write a letter to their future self, in which they had to envision a better future and think about how they might make it happen.

We were inundated with entries from across the Ormiston Network with over 50 letters from across both Primary and Secondary schools. We selected 20 of our top favourites. View our Top Selected blog to read the entries in full.

  1. This website page is fabulous. The splendid material uncovers the maker’s energy. I’m stunned and envision more such mind blowing substance.
