Overview

The main aim of this guide is to enable leaders to embed YSA within their schools at secondary level. It provides step-by-step guidance through the Steps of Youth Social Action. It refers to additional documents which can be used to support leaders. The guide is divided into three sections:
Section 1 - Introduction to YSA, Meaning, Benefits, Key Principles and Process.
Section 2 - Explores the framework, focus areas, young people number scales, curriculum links and commitments. Section 3 - Explores the use of the passport in assessing and guiding young people through their YSA journey.
