Overview

Hosted by Headliners, #DigitalTransitions is a youth-led programme using media and journalism engagement alongside employability programmes to give looked-after young people a safe space in which to work together to creatively explore and address the issues which matter to them.

This promotes their resilience and helps them reimagine a more positive future. In June 2023, they produced their own podcast called the ‘Owt or Nowt Show’.

The Ormiston #WeWill youth social action campaign aimed to empower young people across the Ormiston network and non-Ormiston schools to build relationships and share best practices. Our overall aim was to ensure that young people would drive and determine action and staff would ensure young people were given the skills to succeed, and the chance to engage with other young people to share and develop practice across the country.
